The Spanish Castey company looks back on a history of the Barberí art foundry that dates back to the 16th century. At that time, the three Barberí brothers, who came from Italy, settled in the north of Spain, where they initially made church bells, sculptures, etc. were manufactured. Daily necessities such as cookware followed later. In the 1990s, the development, production and sales of cookware were finally brought together under the umbrella of the Castey brand.

The Classic Induction series from Castey is made of cast aluminum, has a durable non-stick coating and features a high-quality full disc induction base.
The saucepans and pans are equipped with removable cedar wood handles and can also be used in the oven without a handle. The pots and casseroles have heat-insulating silicone handle covers and are also oven-safe.
