In 1921, the Swiss engineer Jean Déglon founded a knife factory in the French knife capital Thiers. Déglon initially specialized in knives and cutlery for catering customers and quickly gained a worldwide reputation thanks to its excellent product quality. Since then, constant innovation has been the hallmark of the successful family business, which is run by the third generation.
